The older-model .30 caliber hunting rifle was discovered in the woods near the scene of Wednesday’s shooting at Utah Valley University, wrapped in a towel with a spent cartridge still in the chmber, the sources said. There were also three unspent rounds in the magazine, all with wording on them.

Basic Journalist questions:
Why is the ATF sending emails like this to public/media figures?
Isn’t it convenient the bullets left a “signature” that points the blame in a specific direction?
Since the same thing just happened with another shooter’s bullets, could this be a tactic? Not by the shooters but by those orchestrating these events? Their handlers?
Can you trust 90 percent of what you hear about this event?
It’s not the shot that indicates skill - many snipers could make that shot- just ask them. It is the ability to penetrate the event, blend in with the crowd & vanish like a ghost in spite of all the people, security & local police. Those are the clearest signs this is a pro. And that means organised, funded etc. Also likely there were others in the crowd who were involved - decoys, distractions etc. That’s how these operations work.
The shooter’s rifle was found with more rounds with pro transgender and anti-fascist inscriptions.

That rifle and those rounds were meant to be found.
That shot didn’t come from a “crazy liberal tranny lover.”
That was a highly skilled professional with a team.

This new information seems to point away from a professional hit and more toward a well-organized lone operator. But the Mauser detail is a strange coincidence, because after JFK was shot, authorities announced they had found a Mauser, only to later switch it to a Carcano. That switch has fueled endless speculation ever since, so if someone wanted to jerk people around and lay false trails, planting a Mauser in the woods would be a pretty effective way to do it.
