🗞️🚨🗞️JUST IN: Attorneys for Erika Kirk are asking the judge overseeing Tyler Robinson’s murder case to reject a defense request to put off the trial until late 2029. In Utah, victims have a right to a speedy resolution. Robinson was arrested last year after turning himself in, in connection with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He finally entered a plea of not guilty last month. Both sides expect the actual trial to take months. Prosecutors have said they’d be ready in fall of next year, but they also suggested waiting until after the holidays to get started, proposing January 2028. I’ll be in Provo tomorrow for the next hearing. There will be no video, audio or livestream.
