That, of course, was a lie. The cover sheets instead acted as props to allegedly demonstrate the classified nature of each document; agents clipped the different colored sheets to unknown files, spread them on a floor at MAL, took a photo, added it to a court filing in the special master’s case, and made sure it went viral to substantiate Trump’s guilt.

Apparently no such cover sheets were used during the search of Joe Biden’s home in early 2023.
