FOX Has Revealed Itself

🧵 Last Friday, President Trump shut the White House door on CNN, MSNOW and Politico over what he described as fabricated reporting.

By Sunday, the President had vanished from America’s live TV screens.
You might assume one of those outlets was responsible. You’d be wrong.

… was FOX.

The man running the White House television pool is Bryan Boughton, who also heads Fox News’ Washington bureau.

His memo to pool members: presidential event coverage is suspended.

Everyone else? Business as usual. Lawmakers, visiting dignitaries and events around the country still get cameras.

Think about that.

A senator gets a camera. A visiting dignitary gets a camera.

The President gets a black screen.

FOX may call that solidarity. I see a network using its position to settle a score with a President it has never liked.

And FOX can’t pretend it was simply following the crowd.

Once CNN was benched, Fox was next up. It had the crew, the gear and a bureau blocks away.

Instead, Fox wore our jersey and played for the other team.

Call it what it is: Fox threw the game. 1919 Black Sox style.

I’m not surprised. Fox has kept me and other Trump officials off its air over our views on tariffs and border security.

Two can play.

Cabinet secretaries, agency heads, White House officials and surrogates should stay off Fox News and Fox Business.

The only booking Fox should make is a primetime apology to President Trump and the MAGA audience it has spent years courting.

FOX no longer has a monopoly on conservative media.

It’s time the little guys got a share of the pie.
