… so they couldn't answer questions from US border agents about who their guardians were. The children were between the ages of 5 and 13 and one had to be hospitalized for marijuana poisoning.

Per DOJ, Susana Guadian and Daniel Guadian, both from Juarez, MX, have been charged with conspiracy to transport aliens and bringing aliens illegally to the United States for financial gain.

Per the indictment, they ran the child smuggling network from May-October of 2024, recruiting drivers to transport the children via vehicle to US ports of entry from Mexico, who would then present false documents to pretend they were the parents of the children.

Once the children were in the US, they were transported to El Paso, TX, where others would pick up the children and pay the drivers $900 for each child they smuggled across the border.
