According to a federal complaint, Encinitas Assistant Superintendent Amy Illingworth also said schools should create gender support plans where “the parents aren’t in the plan, they never see the plan, they never know about the plan.”

She encouraged teachers to remove “he” and “she” from books and replace them with “they” to normalize pronoun changes.

And the training materials described what children learn from their own parents about biological reality at home as “misinformation” and “negative stereotypes.”

This is why AB 1955 was so dangerous.

Schools were being told to keep secrets from parents while treating moms and dads as the problem and leading innocent children into irreversible procedures that make them infertile and scarred for life.
