The facility is now secure.
Thanks to the diligent coordination of NJ law enforcement with federal law enforcement, the facility’s perimeter is secure and all operations can resume.
Visitation with detainees had been suspended for the safety of our officers and detainees due to rioting in the street.
Limited visitation began at noon, and regular weekday visitation can begin tomorrow.
