… released with no vetting, blows off his court date, gets a final deportation order… and three weeks later crosses the centerline drunk and murders 47-year-old American dad Michael Sharpe in front of his family. As a border patrol executive, I always thought in terms of risk management. Our political leaders have supported a system that enables this, and it’s in direct contradiction to basic risk management. Michael wasn’t “replaced” by cheaper labor. He was erased by it.The quest for cheap labor isn’t an “economic policy.”

It’s a system designed to import the cheapest possible bodies while ignoring the predictable body count on the American side.

Every time a politician or CEO smiles and says “we need the labor,” remember the Sharpe kids growing up without their father.
That’s not a side effect.
That’s the system working exactly as designed. Cheap labor. Expensive American lives!
