Stockton City Council meeting, Vice Mayor Jason Lee created a NGO

After creating the nonprofit, he then attempted to get a $58 million dollar taxpayer funded grant given to his NGO

He is the founder of the NGO and a member of the city council voting for his own funding

… council voted against partnering with his NGO (luckily) but he will definitely be attempting to steal more taxpayer money in the future. He’s got his nonprofit setup and ready to take taxpayer money.

He didn’t lose his job. Jason Lee is still the Vice Mayor of Stockton, California.
