… wants their country turned into rubble. Maybe now we can craft a smarter strategy to finally topple this regime. If the playing field is even and an opportunity arises, the Iranian people will seize it.We have a two-week ceasefire. Like most Iranians, I feel a mix of disappointment, fear… and cautious hope.

Hope, because this window could be used to flood the global oil & gas markets. If war resumes, the economic blow to the world might be softer.

But let’s not fool ourselves. The regime is already spinning this as a “humiliating defeat for Trump” on state TV. In reality, history shows what they do in their tantrums: they turn their rage on their own people. Expect a sharp spike in executions, arrests, and brutal crackdowns. Labeling innocents as “spies” and “foreign agents” is their favorite way to mask their weakness.
Early signs are worrying — Iran is already violating ceasefire terms, the state media claims Trump was defeated and accepted their ridiculous “ten-point plan,” and Israel isn’t even mentioned. So is Israel still in the fight?
Also the internet will not be back anytime soon. The regime still fears the voice of its people so expect the digital blackout to remain for the duration of this two-week ceasefire. This also means the economic situation will remain the same, with skyrocketing inflation, stagnation and delayed and unpaid wages.
We Iranians have endured decades of this nightmare. We’ll endure what’s coming too.
But please — don’t abandon us. The vast majority of Iranians still desperately want this regime gone. When the moment comes, we will rise. Let’s finish the job and avenge all the people this evil regime has killed.
