WAR: The purpose of the ceasefire is to allow the US and Iran to negotiate the terms of peace. Both parties delivered their starting proposals to one another. President Trump agreed that Iran's 10-point proposal was a workable basis to begin negotiations. He did not agree to the proposal - only to use it as a starting place for negotiations. Speaker of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Parliament MB Ghalibaf doesn't seem to understand the concept as he seems to think the US agreed to its terms before negotiating the terms. He's also confused about which country he runs. For some reason he thinks that Iran includes Lebanon - FWIW it does not and wasn't part of the ceasefire agreement. Vice President JD Vance believes the Iranians were simply confused.
