Ex Parte Contacts

The Last Refuge

Keep in mind Julie Kelly, on August 4, 2023, Chief Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for DC appeared in the DC Circuit Court to watch President Donald Trump's arraignment.

Judge Boasberg was on vacation and appeared in court as a spectator.

…"The group included D.C. District Chief Judge James Boasberg and Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who said during a 2021 sentencing hearing that those who egged on the Jan. 6 rioters "stoked the flames of fear."

They watched as Smith walked in and took his seat among at least a dozen prosecutors and investigators."…

… these kinds of communications are probably not technically prohibited, Howell completely destroys any appearance of judicial impartiality when she is quoted saying “she liked our approach” and “knows it is coming and loves idea.” She was fully in on the entire operation. But of course, nothing will be done about it.

This is interesting in and of itself vis-a-vis the efforts to get Trump and his allies, Julie Kelly.

But it also seems to reflect ex parte contacts (talking to Judges without opposing litigants present) by Jack Smith.

Now, can you see that the effort to take @EagleEdMartin ’s law license for complaining in a direct contact to the DC Court of Appeals Chief Judge about the DC Disciplinary Counsel is another flash point of the two-tier system of justice?

See, it’s totally fine if Jack Smith (a Democrat masquerading as an independent) appointed by a Democrat AG has ex parte contacts with a chief judge of a federal court, but not a Republican appointee like Ed Martin.

Oh no, that must be shut down immediately.

Do you see any ethics consequences for Jack Smith?

I predict you’ll age like Methuselah if you wait for that ethics inquiry to be opened in DC.
