Meanwhile, officials pushed a $110M property tax hike on Austin residents due to a $33 million dollar budget deficit. After voters said NO the city had to make $95M in cuts to city programs such as millions cut from Fire & EMS services, meanwhile this is how $279 MILLION was spent.
