… increase funding for ICE. The duly elected President of the United States has exercised his constitutional authority to instruct ICE to enforce the law. Any Democratic governor who advocates breaking the law and opposing the federal government is violating the Constitution and putting their citizen’s at risk. Minneapolis just proved that encouraging citizens to attack law enforcement agents puts their lives at risk in a hopeless, illegal, and unconstitutional way.

Gov. Tim Walz has suggested that he might call out the National Guard to protect citizens from the federal government. His antebellum notions of state authority went out of style in the 1860s. Just ask Jefferson Davis...
