They Are Trying to Paralyze an Administration by Making It Impossible to Govern

… allowed to exercise the powers that every previous president has exercised. They have decided that the voters made the wrong choice, and that the machinery of the state must be turned against the man those voters elected.

They dress it up in the language of conscience. They invoke the Nuremberg principles. They speak gravely about their "duty to history." But strip away the performance, and the operation reveals itself... they are trying to paralyze an administration they cannot defeat at the ballot box by making it impossible to govern.

The men and women in uniform deserve better than to be used as pawns in this cynical game. They raised their hands and swore an oath... not to a party, not to a ideology, not to the editorial board of the New York Times... but to the Constitution and to the lawful orders of those appointed above them. That oath is sacred. It is the thread that holds the entire system together.

Those who scheme to paralyze the Republic will find themselves standing before a greater tribunal than any Senate committee... the unforgiving verdict of American history. And there, their names will be written not among the loyal opposition, but among the saboteurs who tried, and failed, to overthrow the will of a free people.
