@divyafindsyou 🌋 TOO MANY VOLCANOES ARE ERUPTING NOW Indonesia’s Semeru is on high alert, throwing ash columns kilometers into the sky and sending pyroclastic flows down its flanks. Japan’s Sakurajima just blasted ash up to about 4.4 km, cancelling dozens of flights. Fuego in Guatemala is back with explosive activity over the same towns it has killed before. In Ethiopia, the long-dormant Hayli Gubbi volcano woke up after at least 10,000 years, firing an ash plume so high it crossed the Red Sea and drifted over the Middle East and South Asia, disrupting air travel in multiple countries. In Europe, Etna and Stromboli continue their relentless eruptions of lava and ash. The crust is venting in multiple zones at the same time. This could be the early sign of a larger regional or global stress adjustment. When volcanoes across different parts of the world all wake up together, you should be paying attention.
