@divyafindsyou 🚨 Breaking major solar storm alert. A G4 “Severe” geomagnetic storm watch is active and models show a fast, merged “cannibal” CME targeting Earth inside the next 36 hours. This is one of NOAA’s highest alerts. At G4, the storm can inject currents into the ground, trigger voltage control problems on long power lines, degrade GPS timing and positioning, cause HF radio blackouts, and force satellites to fight drag. We are also near the peak of Solar Cycle 25 — Solar Maximum — which is why eruptions are stacking and impacts are spiking. What matters most is the magnetic field direction at arrival. If the interplanetary field points south when it hits Earth, coupling goes up and systems struggle. Charge devices, print backup directions, save offline maps, and keep a flashlight and power bank handy.
