If sensitive details of undercover operations are being leaked, it could endanger federal agents’ lives and compromise national security. What if this information gets leaked to some of the violent gangs that @HSINewYork and other federal authorities are currently investigating? It could give these criminals a heads up, allowing them to arm themselves and ambush federal investigators.

Today’s operation was relatively small — confiscating counterfeit goods from street vendors, some of whom were migrants, and some who were not. But this doesn’t even touch the bigger picture. There are warehouses scattered across New York and New Jersey packed with counterfeit merchandise — the real hubs behind these street operations.

According to my sources, some of the money made from this counterfeit trade is being funneled into terrorism and human trafficking. If that’s true, this goes far beyond fake handbags — it’s a national security threat.

The only way to truly dismantle this operation is to target the warehouses and the networks behind them, not just the street-level sellers. This leak issue must be taken seriously before it puts lives — and the country — in even greater danger.

That struck me immediately. If I had an emergency at home, it would take me an hour or so to get there from work. Today, there were hundreds of people there within 5-10 minutes to obstruct ICE. In the middle of the day on a work day. Almost like it was planned and they were paid.
