… conflict because he was on the Mueller special counsel team, which only existed because of the leaks at the center of this case. But Fitzgerald may be even worse. Some of the leaks ran through him. That makes him a witness, an active participant, and possibly even an unindicted co-conspirator.IMHO, Comey’s defense counsel should be disqualified for their personal interests in the case and as possible co-conspirators. @TheJusticeDept https://t.co/ejWcMMERYh

By hiring lawyers who share exposure, Comey guarantees that everyone stays on script. None of them can break ranks without risking their own liability. It also complicates discovery because once defense lawyers are implicated in the scheme, it creates a huge labyrinth of privilege and related legal entanglements. That conveniently shields the full network from scrutiny while the process gets bogged down in procedural detours.
A serious judge would disqualify them immediately. But this is a partisan Biden judge, so he will likely let it continue and Comey will once again get away with gaming the system.
… they can’t be questioned because of attorney-client privilege. He did the same illegal arrangement with Daniel Richman.Comey, who is under federal indictment for criminal leaking, leaked classified memos to Fitzgerald in 2017. Fitzgerald is a fact witness in this trial, as are a number of other Comey attorneys.

This is a long-time tactic of Comey’s: he hires attorneys he leaks to, then pretends… https://t.co/BxliI8gg0I

Democrat lawfare operatives run the same privilege scam every time, and they keep getting away with it because the judges are corrupt, or Republicans are useless, or both.
Comey leaked through his co-conspirators and then hired them as his lawyers so he can now claim privilege over anything they said, did or coordinated. If those communications were ever revealed, it would blow up not just the lawyers but Comey himself.
We already saw the exact same play during the Russia collusion hoax. Hillary hired Perkins Coie, and overnight every dirty trick, every fabrication and every media hit job became “privileged legal work” even though the lawyers were acting as political operatives and smear merchants, not attorneys.
When one of those Perkins Coie lawyers was caught feeding lies to the FBI, Special Counsel Durham, supposedly a Republican appointee, refused to fight to pierce the fake privilege claims. To this day, Perkins Coie is still sitting on a mountain of Russiagate hoax documents that were unlawfully concealed.
But when the tables are turned and it is Trump or his allies being targeted, privilege vanishes instantly and every scrap of communication is fair game.
It is the same racket every time and Democrat lawfare operatives never pay a price for it.
… was the model and test-case for this.Comey is accused of leaking to lawyers, which could provides him with attorney-client privilege and plausible -deniability. The lawyers leak it to journalists who claim they have journalist-source privilege. This is a grand scheme to deprive Americans of their civil rights and I…
