In May 2023, over 26,000 illegal aliens arrived in the El Paso Sector, averaging nearly 1,000 a day, which was a 9-month low.

Now, just six months into the Trump administration, @CBP encountered about 35 illegal aliens a day in the El Paso Sector in July.

Facilities that were used to process illegal aliens have been shut down. Charities, like those run by Sacred Heart Church, which sheltered over 15,000 illegal aliens in 2023, closed their doors in September 2024. Illegal sirens just were not crossing like they once had.

And unlike under the Biden administration, no illegal aliens are being released onto the city streets.

Here in El Paso, the border is closed.
