The media keeps manufacturing these malignant lies, and when you check, you almost always find not just that they aren’t true, but that the opposite is often the case. Every single person who has actually bothered to watch Charlie Kirk’s videos comes away realizing he was thoughtful and reasonable, not extreme. But most people never do that. They’re left with the hateful caricature the media built for them. That caricature stuck. It’s so pervasive that even I had to stop and double check whether Charlie had ever actually said the things he was accused of—and of course, he hadn’t.
We’ve seen it again and again, from “Trump the Russian agent” to “Trump called Nazis fine people.” Pure fabrications but repeated until tens of millions treat them as unshakable truth. The problem isn’t Reddit or gaming culture. The problem is the media hate machine, endlessly churning out Nazi caricatures of people they want destroyed. Of course this stuff gets amplified in many places but the media and its enablers are the architects of this poison.
