The other two officials being ousted are Walter Giardina, a special agent involved in the investigation of President Trump’s trade advisor Peter Navarro @RealPNavarro , and Steven Jensen, the acting director in charge of the Washington Field Office.
Driscoll, who briefly served as acting FBI director earlier this year, had previously resisted efforts to purge FBI agents involved in January 6 cases. Giardina has been criticized for having an anti-Trump bias, and Jensen played a key role in January 6 investigations and the hunting down of Trump supporters post-J6.
