… and uses that as the basis for intimating the same happened in the election.

Or at the very least--the DNC "hack" was Russia's way of shaping the outcome of the election. He discusses how he confronted Putin over the issue and hints at how the US will retaliate.

He then raises "cyber security" and examples of foreign nations "hacking" US govt systems.

But sure--NO HACKING.

"People should pay attention to what our intelligence community says." This was a week after Obama ordered an "intel assessment" into Russia's role in the election including "hacks" and "cyber" issues.

… presidential imprimatur on the escalating Trump-Russia collusion hoax, which Fusion's Glenn Simpson and Chris Steele had already shopped in the media.

Also important to note--the Obama White House was in clean up mode at this point.

Democrats were furious that the "intel" was not shared with the public--therefore allowing Putin to help Trump win in their deluded minds--so Obama and Co had to insist no votes were changed.

But that lowkey point was purposely obfuscated while the White House, Democrats, some Republicans, and the entire new media pushed the notion that the election was "hacked" and that's how Trump won.
