… demanding anonymity in this case, the media doesn’t know their names, the records show. What makes the Judge Hannah Dugan case doubly shocking is the fact these domestic violence victims were in fear for their lives about testifying because they’re terrified both the defendant *and his friends* will either assault or even kill them, to the point where they are… pic.twitter.com/Duy9x4iESE

Judges know it’s extremely hard to get victims to testify in domestic abuse cases, due to dangerously high recidivism rates and the fact these cases too often end in death. That she is accused of letting him escape through the jury door in front of them, and he’s now at large, has put their lives at risk.
The victims in the Eduardo Flores-Ruiz domestic battery case were his roommates at a residence in Milwaukee. The incident occurred on March 12, 2025, during a dispute over loud music.
Flores-Ruiz is accused of wildly and uncontrollably punching a victim approximately 30 times during a violent altercation, almost beating him to death to the point where he had to be hospitalized.
Flores-Ruiz—a Mexican national who had previously been deported in 2013—also punched the roommate’s girlfriend in the head and arm and shoved her so hard, she collapsed to the ground in the kitchen.
Judge Dugan knew these details. Why did she help him escape? Why aren’t Democrats and the media talking about the victims and these details?
