… The defendant was there to have a dismissal entered in his case, not to hear the judge speaking truth to power. In this case, Judge Chutkin is the power.

It is the power to rule dispassionately on the specific case before her; not the power to hold court on the merits of presidential decisions. Yet, Chutkin lashed out, declaring that Trump's pardons “cannot whitewash the blood, feces and terror that the mob left in its wake. And it cannot repair the jagged breach in America’s sacred tradition of peacefully transitioning power.”

This is nothing new from Chutkan or any judge including Howell, Berman Jackson, Kollar Kotelly, Freidman who also lashed out last week. These judges have been making brazenly political and in many cases inaccurate statements about Jan 6 for four years. This is why you should…
