True the Vote
We’ve received many reports, specifically from Georgia, from voters who’re attempting to vote and told their registration address has been changed without their knowledge.
Georgia currently has over 400k ineligible/incorrect registrations on the rolls. This summer, we supported volunteers across GA in presenting these records to their respective counties. No large county in GA made any attempt to address these errors. Now, here we are.
Check your registration before you vote.
If it’s incorrect, or if you learn it’s incorrect at the polls, do these 3 things:
1. Ask to speak to whomever is in charge at the polling place to get more info. Take notes, including names, times, and pics of the incorrect record in the ePollbook.
2. VOTE, provisionally if necessary.
3. Submit a report to http://VoteAlert.org or call our helpline @ 866.888.2024
We will help you submit a complaint to the SoS and file open records requests to track down who/when/how your record was changed.
It will be a case by case fight in 2024. In 2025, we need a hard reset on election processes. The lack of accuracy is inexcusable.
