As of today, the New Mexico Land Commissioner, Stephanie Garcia Richard, is refusing to allow the Trump campaign the usage of the parking lot onsite, despite the fact that the lease clearly extends to the parking lot.
She is holding the parking lot hostage, hoping that without it, the campaign will be forced to cancel the rally.
She has no right to do what she is doing.
I have placed calls to the Governor's office, but they have gone unanswered--unsurprising, given her close friendship with the Democrat Presidential nominee, Kamala Harris.
The powerful need to be reminded of what Alexander Hamilton said: "Here, Sir, the people govern."
