EU dumps more than 200million Covid vaccines – costing taxpayers £3.4billion

A recent analysis, as reported by Politico, has disclosed that Brussels has discarded over 200 million COVID-19 vaccines, incurring a cost of approximately £3.4 billion.

… coronavirus vaccines at the end of 2020, EU countries have received about 1.5 billion doses, equating to three doses for every individual in Europe.

However, many of these vaccines have not been used and have been disposed of in landfills across the continent.
